June 5 is the day.
Jr. thinks we can do both Phase 1 and 2 on the same day if we have enough interest in them. Pretty sure 2 won't be an issue to fill but 1 may be a question.
More details as I get things nailed down.
The schedule for the year should be posted soon as well. There are just a couple of dates that are in conflict right now. I have 9 weekends scheduled if we want to use them all. April 10/11 is the first weekend if things go as planned. _________________ Logr

Definitely count me in too! I am very excited by the opportunity to attend the EVO school and I was amazed at how much everyone that attended the last time around improved their driving. Both Steve and I have been waiting for this and the excitement of the new upcoming autocross season is exhilarating.
What is the difference between EVO 1 and 2?
Thank you,
Jeff Johnston |

Straight from the Evo school website
| evoschool.com wrote: | PHASE 1
The "original" Evolution program as developed by the McKamey Autocross School. This first step in the Evolution is where all students start, regardless of experience. Daylong course builds upon students existing skills, while introducing new ideas to improve one’s times. Studentsboth ride and drive with Evolution trained national caliber drivers to learn where they are fast and where they need to improve. Small studentteacher ratio of 6:1 insures quality instruction time.
Combined with race proven skills, concepts, and techniques this course will improve the performance of all drivers on both road and track.Even experienced driver’s benefit from the Phase 1 course as a refresher for those things they’ve forgotten over the years or perhaps never learned. No matter what type of car you drive the Phase 1 skills will improve your overall driving abilities.
Note: All students must provide their own two-seat vehicle for the day. Two driver cars are welcome.
PHASE 2
Building upon the skills learned in Phase 1, Phase 2 takes the driver into new areas of mental race preparation, allowing the Phase 1 skills to be applied as second nature. Various driving exercises are conducted throughout the day to improve the driver’s visual and mental imaging of the course, resulting in quicker lap times.
This course has worked "magic" in reinforcing the importance of Phase 1 skills and transferring those skills to every autocross course you may encounter. The Phase 2 track design is not the same as used in Phase 1 and generally has higher speed sections.Note: Phase 2 students must first have completed the Phase 1 Program. As in Phase 1, students must provide a two-seat vehicle for the day. |

That is great, I appreciate the reply. Both me and my wife Sam Johnston will be attending and we look forward to the opportunity to learn! So that makes two more for Evo 1. I have a new car this year that I will be campaigning in "B" Stock category and I will need all the help I can get. The last three years I have learned a lot from all the great people at ASNW and this year I really want to improve and so does my wife. Again, I really appreciate Mike times two (Mike Gregg & Mike Vesecky), and Bryan and Beckie Woodbury for putting together another EVO school for us not to mention everything else in the world you do for all of us!
Thank you,

As I'm really new at this and interested in improving my driving skills, I'll say at this time I would be interested in at least phase 1 and if I can work it in.... phase 2.

ACK! Except as I'm filling in my calendar I find that's the weekend for the annual POCA Fun Rally in Reno. <sigh> |

Hey Logr,
On your links you have a J before the HTTP address on the Evo school. You need to delete the J so it is a direct link.. You can delete my post after you correct it. |

Hoped to sign up for this, ('cuz I really need it) but our club Fathers Day event is a 2 day in Helena. The boss has an issue with having every other weekend off!! No sympathy at all. Have fun. _________________ No key, No throttle - Not a Sport.. |
