Howdy!
What time are we getting started on Saturday morning? I need to know how early to get up to drive the 3 + hours to arrive.
Thank you for your time!

Get there when you can Mark but we start around 8:00. Missed you last weekend. Any help during the day is good but we should be done by 2-3.
Who else is coming? Please post here.
I need at least 6 people. We are mostly concentrating on repairing the track and finishing the picnic tables. Please bring a pointed shovel if you can. |

I just recieved an invitation for lunch for the whole crew, from the Barron's Model Plane bunch. They are having a work day also and want us to join them for dogs. Should be fun.

I don't have a shovel, but I've got a pair of gloves and a strong back - I'll be there.
It'll be cool to talk with some of the Baron's guys, makes me wish I had a model ready to fly. _________________ 93' Legacy SS, #21

See you there skid, mike we already talked to you, but you can count on the Wades, we will be there.
I am not sure if my dad has talked to you yet today or not, but he picked up the tables, and he is going to get the boards I think Tomorrow. |

Mike, sorry to say but I'm up in Canada till next week. I'll make the next one for sure, I never intentionally skip out on contributing.
One thing I did notice from Sunday though is that one of the patches that was laid down before has compacted/sunk down in the area of the last slalom by station 4, I noticed it took a few good chunks out of my street tires, its a good thing I'm getting new ones soon. That might be the only one that could get overlooked this weekend I wanted to make sure was done. _________________

I think its really disheartening to hold an event and have over 80 people but we cant get more than 5 or 10 to show up and help make are only venue better. Guess everyone thinks our track is already great! Haha _________________ Novice |

I'm going to be free pretty much every weekend this summer once I get settled back into Spokane, and while cold patch is a little "DIY" for me, I've got plenty of experience in road construction I'm more than happy to contribute.
Actually that makes me wonder, are you guys packing it with a plate tamper? They help a lot more than you'd think. _________________

Vickie and I are still debating. We'd love to help, but it's a 6-hour round-tripper
You know, many of our membership do not frequent the forum, is there another way to get the word out? |

I wasnt really speaking about out of towners Vic. The funny part is you guys are more likely to come help than our own members! But I would think we should be able to get 20-30 people from ASNW to come out to help dont you? _________________ Novice |

| Cody/Logr/MV, there is a part of ORM that has contact info and a way to email all members. Have you done that? Might bring the results you are looking for... |
